Sisk called for Council questions. <br /> <br />Levihn asked if Superior will have the same language on their ballot as Louisville has on theirs. He <br />wanted that looked into as he wanted unified ballot issues. <br /> <br />Simmons had not seen Superior's ballot issue. <br /> <br />Lathrop wanted it looked into as to what fire district this property would be under. <br /> <br />Keany moved that Council approve Resolution No. 37, Series 1997, and authorize the Deputy City <br />Clerk to notify the appropriate authorities, seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Howard and <br />Davidson being absent. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1265, SERIES 1997 - INCREASING CERTAIN APPLICATION, <br />REGISTRATION AND LICENSE FEES WITH RESPECT TO ALCOHOL BEVERAGE <br />LICENSING - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 8/9/97) <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1265, Series 1997, "An ordinance increasing certain <br />application, registration and license fees with respect to alcohol beverage licensing." <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that there had been several changes to the Colorado Liquor <br />and Beer Code during this year's legislative session, one of which was to change the licensing fees <br />with respect to the licensing of establishments serving alcoholic beverages. The Local Licensing <br />Authority had reviewed the legislation and recommended that Council approve this ordinance <br />increasing the fees. <br /> <br />Tami Tanoue, Griffiths & Tanoue, stated that there was one typographical change to be made on <br />page No. 1 of the ordinance under subsection D of Section 5.08.040. On the second line after <br />"....registration fee" the word "on" needed to be changed to "in". <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for public comments on Ordinance No. 1265. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1265, Series 1997, increasing certain <br />application, registration, and license fees with respect to alcoholic beverage licensing, seconded by <br />Keany. Roll call was taken.
