Davidson congratulated Chief Goodman on the outstanding work of the police department. <br /> <br />Sisk had been asked to pass on a comment from Vicki Schlegal at Norwest Bank. She stated that the <br />banks in Louisville are very pleased with the cooperation they have received from the Louisville <br />Police Department in terms of prevention. <br /> <br />Lathrop, speaking as a local business owner, congratulated the Police Department. The City's intent in purchasing both <br />properties was for them to be maintained as open space parks. The Planning Commission had a <br />public hearing on the proposed zoning and rezoning on June 19 and approved the request with two <br />conditions. <br /> <br /> Davidson opened the public heating calling for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1261. <br /> NONE <br /> <br /> Davidson closed the public heating and called for Council comments. <br /> <br /> Mayer had attended the meeting and the majority of people wanted the area left as is. <br /> <br /> Lathrop did not want to eliminate the cultivation of crops. <br /> <br /> Davidson felt an amendment allowing the raising of crops be appropriate. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
