RESOLUTION NO.49 <br />SERIES 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO A SERVICE ORDER <br />WITH MARKLEY DESIGNS <br />WHEREAS, the City engaged the services of Markley Designs, LLC to perform design <br />work for the basement remodel at the Louisville Police Department and Courts building; and <br />WHEREAS, plans for the project have changed and a First Amendment to the Service <br />Order has been proposed to effectuate such changes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed First Amendment is in the best <br />interests of the City and its citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The First Amendment to the Service Order between the City of Louisville <br />and Markley Designs, LLC is hereby approved in substantially the same form of such Agreement <br />that accompanies this Resolution. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the First <br />Amendment, and the Mayor is hereby further authorized to negotiate and approve such revisions to <br />the First Amendment as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the <br />City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the First Amendment are not altered. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14"' day of July, 2020. <br />Ashley S mann, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk®� <br />SEAL <br />cOCORA� <br />Resolution No. 49, Series 2020 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
