RESOLUTION NO. 52 <br />SERIES 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT AND <br />NEW CONSTRUCTION GRANT FOR THE MANCINI HOUSE LOCATED AT 908 REX <br />STREET <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a Preservation and Restoration Grant and New <br />Construction Grant for the Mancini House, a historic residential structure located at 908 Rex <br />Street, on property legally described Lots 3-4-5, Block 8, Murphy Place, Town of Louisville, <br />City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3.20.605.D and <br />Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed grant application and has recommended the request be <br />forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed grant application and <br />the Commission's recommendation and report, and has held a properly noticed public <br />hearing on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br />preservation of the Mancini House, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant and New Construction Grant application for work at the Mancini House located 908 <br />Rex Street, subject to the following: <br />1. Approved preservation items are those in the proposed scope of work <br />presented to City Council totaling $151,099. <br />2. There is approved a total grant amount of $76,775. <br />a. Preservation and Restoration Grant amount of $61,775 <br />b.
