Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />October 28, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />Reports of Commission: <br />Chair Fisher thanked Economic Vitality Director Pierce saying the current packet was <br />particularly well done <br />Commissioner Adler asked for an update on the Recovery & Improvement Matching <br />Grant program. Director Pierce said that, as of today, 24 grants have been approved <br />and approximately $114,000 has been spent. There is roughly $35,400 remaining to <br />be granted from initial funding. There have been varying amounts of money granted, <br />up to $10,000. In total, there is $276,000 worth of work taking place. Businesses are <br />buying from local businesses and using local contractors. A wide range of projects are <br />taking place. Interior improvements include sneeze guards, sanitation stations, and <br />signage. Program requirements were revised slightly to include items that may have <br />been purchased September 3rd or after. <br />Commissioner Gorsevski asked about status of future lockdown. Director Pierce said <br />Boulder County is not moving in a good direction. Communities in the County are at <br />risk and trying to mitigate Covid-19. A more restrictive phase is possible. Restrictions <br />are typically County -wide, not specific to one community. <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />• Resolution 20-04: Amending the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 for <br />the Urban Revitalization District <br />Finance Director Watson called attention to the memo on page 12 of packet. <br />This amendment to the LRC budget was discussed by LRC on September 9t" <br />City Council approved the amendment on Sept 15t". Today, the item is brought <br />back to LRC for final approval. There were no changes to the amendment since <br />the LRC considered it in September. <br />Council member Lipton moved to approve Resolution 20-04. Commissioner <br />Adler seconded. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Council member Lipton - yes <br />Commissioner Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Bradfield - yes <br />Chair Fisher - yes <br />Commissioner Tofte - yes <br />Commissioner Gorsevski - yes <br />Motion passes. <br />Agenda Packet P. 3 <br />
