RESOLUTION NO. 80 <br />SERIES 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br />THE KOCI HOUSE FROM 1201 LINCOLN AVENUE TO BE LOCATED AT 633 LA <br />FARGE AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a Preservation and Restoration Grant for the <br />Koci House from 1201 Lincoln Avenue, a historic residential structure to be located at 633 <br />La Farge Avenue, on property legally described as Lots 1-3, Block 7, Jefferson Place, Town <br />of Louisville, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3.20.605.D and <br />Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed grant application and has recommended the request be <br />forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed Preservation and <br />Restoration Grant application and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has <br />held a properly noticed public hearing on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, nothing in this approval is intended to modify the standard water and <br />sewer tap fee calculation or process; public works will determine the correct fee and <br />apply it to the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br />preservation of the Koci House from 1201 Lincoln Avenue, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant Application for work at the Koci House from 1201 Lincoln Avenue to be located at 633 <br />Jefferson Avenue, subject to the following: <br />1. Approved preservation items are those in the proposed scope of work <br />presented to City Council totaling $255,600. <br />2.
