The Final Takoda Subdivision Plat and Final <br />PUD were approved by Resolution No. 24, Series 2008. The area on the northeast <br />corner of the development of the subdivision, the subject property, was set aside for the <br />development of commercial/retail uses. <br />The property is zoned Planned Community Zone District – Commercial/Residential <br />PCZD-C/R). According to Section 17.72.090 of the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC), <br />the PCZD-C component of this development is “intended to promote the development of <br />well-planned shopping centers and facilities that provide a variety of shopping, <br />professional business, cultural, and entertainment facilities designed to create an <br />attractive and pleasant shopping atmosphere.” <br />Indian Peaks Filing 17 <br />To the north of Takoda/Steel Ranch is the Indian Peaks Filing 17, a residential / <br />commercial project in the City of Lafayette. After a few years of dormancy, the <br />development in the Indian Peaks subdivision has resumed. The following program <br />outlines what is programmed within the Indian Peaks Subdivision:
