Call to Order <br />Helen called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />2. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: Laura Scott Denton, Peter Gowen, Helen Moshak, David <br />Blankinship, Tom Neville, Charles Danforth, Jessamine Fitzpatrick, Anneliese Steel <br />Board Members Absent: none <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Nathan Mosley <br />City Council Member Present: Debbie Fahey <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Tom seconded. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Peter moved to approve the minutes as written. Jessamine seconded. The motion <br />passed with seven votes: Annaliese abstained. <br />5. Staff Updates— Ember <br />See updates provided by Ember on page 14 of the January 2021 OSAB Meeting packet. <br />A. Ember announced that staff are working with a CU Boulder program called the <br />Masters of the Environment graduate program. They are soliciting local governments for <br />proposals for a capstone project for student groups to work on. Along with Boulder <br />County and the City of Lafayette, Open Space Staff proposed a <br />management/maintenance/water plan for the Mayhoffer property. By mid -February, staff <br />should know if they are a final candidate for the program. If they are selected, they will <br />have a three hour a week commitment to the students. <br />B. Nathan was told by the Planning Commission that OSAB would get a <br />presentation from Redtail Ridge during the February meeting. <br />C. Nathan announced an upcoming City Executive Council meeting about the <br />potential acquisition of available Mayhoffer land parcels. <br />D. Nathan had a recent discussion about City Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) <br />with City Council. The KPIs have been refined and Nathan listed the newly revised KPIs <br />for the board. David observed that nothing on the list seemed to relate to trails, but <br />Nathan listed a few more that also involved Parks, and this list included several KPIs <br />that touched on trails.
