City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 2, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />Paul Crowder, 296 South Buchanan Circle, asked if the City has information on the <br />experiences of black and brown people's interactions with the Police Department and with <br />City employees overall. He also would like information about if and how the City is <br />working to keep members of hate groups from being employed by the City. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked for <br />a motion. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by <br />Councilmember Fahey. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approve Cancellation of February 9, 2021 Study Session <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Councilmember Dickinson noted there have been some car break ins recently and <br />reminded people to lock cars and houses to help prevent such crimes. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated there is information in the latest Mayor's update about how <br />people over 70 can get vaccinated. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Balser stated the City will start accepting applications for the Equity, <br />Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force beginning February 10. Applications will be available <br />on the City's website. Staff will be recruiting members through a variety of sources in <br />hopes of getting a diverse and engaged group of people to apply. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />
