<br />City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />03/30/09 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY FEEDBACK FROM BUDGET PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />The City Manager reviewed changes to the budget presentation that have <br />occurred since it was presented to Council. The City Manager also reviewed the <br />schedule for the upcoming presentations. <br /> <br />PROPOSED BUDGET AMENDMENT - APRIL 7, 2009 <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented a proposed budget amendment that is <br />scheduled for the April 7, 2009 Council Meeting. The Parks & Recreation <br />Director reviewed his rollover requests. The Committee discussed the Library <br />amendment and requested changes to the amendment schedules. The <br />amendment schedules can be located on the City's website at <br />www.ci.louisville.co.us. <br /> <br />SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED JANUARY 31,2009 <br /> <br />The Tax Manager presented the January 31, 2009 Sales Tax Report. The report <br />and the corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at <br />www.ci.louisville.co.us. The Tax Manager also discussed the upcoming <br />February sales tax report and handed out sales tax revenue information for <br />surrounding communities. The Committee requested that staff separate out the <br />Historical Preservation Tax from the trend analysis schedules. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING FEBRUARY 28, 2008 <br /> <br />The Accounting Manager presented the Financial Statements for the period <br />ending February 28, 2009. The statements and corresponding narrative can be <br />located on the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF CASH & INVESTMENTS AS OF FEBRARY 28,2009 <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investment as of <br />February 28,2009. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located on <br />the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. The Finance Director also <br />presented information from Wells Fargo regarding security safekeeping services. <br />Mayor Sisk recused himself from discussion of the Wells Fargo services. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> <br />The next meeting is set for Monday, April 20, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. in the City <br />Manager's Office.
