<br />City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />04/20/09 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />2010 BUDGET CALENDAR AND BUDGET PROCESS <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented a 2010 budget calendar and drafts of new forms <br />that will be required during the 2010 budget process. The Committee discussed <br />and approved the 2010 budget process. <br /> <br />RESPONSES TO THE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RFP <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented a memorandum dated April 15, 2009 to the City <br />manager that summarized the proposals received from the six prequalified <br />vendors. The memorandum can be located on the City's website at <br />www.louisvilleco.qov. <br /> <br />SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED FEBRUARY 28, 2009 <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented the February 28, 2009 Sales Tax Report. The <br />report and the corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at <br />www.louisvilleco.qov. In addition to this presentation, the Committee discussed <br />the report format and requested the sales tax data be presented with and without <br />the new Historic Preservation Tax. The City Manager also requested the <br />inclusion of the Revenue Trend Dashboard Report. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDING MARCH 31, 2009 <br /> <br />The Accounting Manager presented the Financial Statements for the period <br />ending March 31, 2009. The statements and corresponding narrative can be <br />located on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.qov. In addition to this <br />presentation, the Committee discussed the report format and requested the <br />addition of a year-to-date column for the prior year. The Committee also asked <br />specific questions pertaining to the Parking Improvement Fund, the Capital <br />Projects Fund, and the Library Construction Fund. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF CASH & INVESTMENTS AS OF MARCH 31, 2009 <br /> <br />The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investments as of <br />March 31, 2009. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located on <br />the City's website at www.louisvilleco.qov. <br /> <br />LIST OF BILLS <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed the List of Bills scheduled for approval at the April 21, <br />2009 Council Meeting.
