<br /> <br />SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2008 <br /> <br />JUNE 2 - AUGUST 1 <br />CHILDREN - "CATCH THE READING BUG" <br /> <br />"\V!ith summer just around the corner, that means <br />W Summer <br />are movies, reading lists, prizes, and more for adults, teens, <br />and children participating in a summer reading program. <br />111ese programs are funded in part by the Louisville Public <br />Library Foundation. <br /> <br /> <br />for all ages is: <br />Bee Movie - Tuesday, June 3 @ 6:30 PM <br /> <br /> <br />ADULTS - "TAKE FLIGHT ON THE WINGS OF WORDS" <br /> <br />Take Flight @ the Louisville Library this summer with the <br />Adult Summer Reading Program. We'll have weekly drawings <br />for prizes, special programs, and a <br />final grand prize drawing. <br />111ere are no special require- <br />ments, but we suggest you let your <br />imagination soar by reading au- <br />thors or subjects you've never tried <br />before, going to faraway places in <br />books, and reading about adven- <br />turous characters and escapades. <br />To get started, pick up your reading log, booklists, and <br />contest entry coupons at the Adult Services Desk. Read <br />books, answer trivia questions, and enter our drawings. Prizes <br />are awarded weekly. Turn in your reading log by July 31 to be <br />entered in the Grand Prize drawing on August 1. <br /> <br /> <br />For a special treat, join adventure-loving Jane Stanfield for <br />two programs where she will share with us her year-long ex- <br />perience doing volunteer work around the world.
