LL C�tyof <br />Louisville <br />PARKS, RECREATION & OPEN SPACE <br />Open Space Advisory Board Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday October 13, 2021, 7:00pm <br />Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order <br />Charles called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />2. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: Laura Scott Denton, Peter Gowen, David Blankinship, Tom <br />Neville, Charles Danforth, Annaliese Steel, Helen Moshak, Jessamine Fitzpatrick <br />(Jessamine arrived late, Charles acted as chair until Jessamine arrived). <br />Board Members Absent: none <br />Staff Members Present: Nathan Mosley, Ember Brignull, Catherine Jepson <br />City Council Member Present: Deb Fahey <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Tom seconded the motion. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Peter moved to approve the minutes as submitted. David seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. Charles abstained from the vote because he was not there. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />There were no public members attending. <br />6. Staff Updates— Ember <br />See updates on page 9-12 of the October 2021 OSAB Meeting packet. <br />A. Ember sent a reminder to board members to submit memorial bench location <br />suggestions. The official deadline has passed, but if there are any more suggestions, <br />Ember will still take them. <br />B. October 21 is the Mayhoffer property management plan review for Boulder <br />County, City of Lafayette, and City of Louisvillle. All OSAB members are invited. It will <br />be held on Zoom. It will be the only chance to vote on the plan proposal. Ember asked <br />for a volunteer to attend a brief pre -meeting about process. Charles volunteered to <br />attend it. David asked if there would be a chance to participate if a quorum is not <br />reached at this meeting. Ember replied only as a member of the public. <br />C. The board members who need to reapply for board appointments are Helen, <br />Jessamine, and David. They should have received an email from Meredyth. <br />D. Nathan added that the staff applied for a Great Outdoors grant for the 104t" <br />Street trail.
