IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE OWNER / OWNER'S <br />REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY PROBLEM(S) IN CONFORMING TO THE APPROVED PLANS <br />FOR ANY ELEMENT OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS PRIOR TO ITS CONSTRUCTION. <br />8. UTILITY TRENCHES ARE TO BE SLOPED OR BRACED AND SHEETED AS NECESSARY <br />FOR THE SAFETY OF THE WORKMEN AND THE PROTECTION OF OTHER UTILITIES IN <br />COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE STATE AND FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS.
