<br />Councilman Ferrera <br /> <br />SAFEWAY STORE INC. <br />3.2 BEER LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />SOUTHLAND CORP. 7-11 - 3.2 <br />BEER LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEETING - NOVEMBER 1 <br />RESCHEDULE <br />NOVEMBER 3, 1983 <br /> <br />SABELL'S INC. - PAY ESTIMATE <br />#4 - PARKS <br /> <br />10/4/83 <br /> <br />Page -5- <br /> <br />fund was depleted his pension payment would <br />cease. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus requested that a review <br />be made of the records and check the time <br />that Mr. Wilson was employed by the City; <br />also check to see what State Statutes were <br />in operation at that time. There was a possi- <br />bility that there was no Policeman Pension <br />Fund at the time he was employed. <br /> <br />Expressed concern and inquired if there would <br />be other City employees that would be effected <br />and would there be other legal obligations? <br />Attorney Rautenstraus replied there is a possi- <br />bility and this could set a precedent. <br /> <br />Further information to be provided by the <br />City Attorney regarding police pension to <br />Mr. Wilson for the next council packet. Mr. <br />Wilson to be advised. <br /> <br />councilmembers had a copy of the application, <br />memo from the Police Dept., and Attorney <br />Rautenstraus advised that the application was <br />in order. <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the Safeway 3.2 Beer Liquor <br />License be renewed. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the application, <br />memo from the Police Dept., and Attorney <br />Rautenstraus advised that the application <br />was in order. <br />Councilman Ferrera moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that the Southland Corp. 7-11 3.2 <br />Beer License be renewed. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Since this was the date of the Municipal <br />Election request was for reschedule date. <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the first meeting in November <br />be rescheduled for Thursday, November 3, 1983. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay esti- <br />mate for Keith Helart/Hillsborough West <br />Parks as well as staff recommendation. <br />
