Felt that <br />the Mayor should give Councilmembers proper <br />time to review the program and if the results <br />are going to be meaningful he would like to <br />have input as to who was going to be on the <br />committee. <br />Mayor Meier replied that from the people who <br />do apply and from the ones he would appoint, <br />if Councilmembers had any sincere objections, <br />he felt that their concerns would be reviewed <br />and discussed. Reiterated that he would like <br />to advertise to see how many people would be <br />interested to serve on this committee. Had <br />not completed all the criteria at this time. <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera Also expressed concern about the criteria that <br />would be given the Task Force - would not be <br />definitely defined. Relative to growth related <br />items, he did not feel the people would know <br />exactly what would be discussed. They need <br />to know specifically what is going to be studied, <br />what items are to be reviewed, which are not <br />to be reviewed, make a thorough study and come <br />to a conclusion. Felt that definite criteria <br />should be established before the advertisement <br />is placed in the paper. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson Expressed the same concerns as Councilmen <br />Leary and Ferrera and favored tabling the item <br />until next Council meeting. Therefore, Council- <br />members would have an opportunity to review <br />the guidelines that Mayor Meier had. <br /> <br />TASK FORCE - TABLED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Leary <br />seconded that the Task Force item be tabled <br />until the next meeting with the specific charge, <br />the time-frame, and method of appointment in- <br />formation given to Councilmembers at packet <br />time by the Mayor. Question called for. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS Mayor Meier stated that B. Fazio had signed <br />the sheet however was not in the audience <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Betty Johnson, 270 Hoover St. Thanked Councilmembers for repealing Ordinance <br />#791 - Warembourg Annexation, but felt that <br />it was waste of the petitioners time, due to <br />the fact that it has been mentioned that the <br />building permit number is going to be raised <br />again. Possibly they should have looked at <br />
