REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL MAY 3, 1983 The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. M.D.T. There being present at the call of the roll the following persons: COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris Don Cummings, Dennis Ferrera and Herman Fauson ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wur1, City Administrator Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney William Hesson, City Treasurer John Rupp, Director of Community Development August Hioco, Director of Community Services Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Dave Blanchard, City Engineer Sharon Caranci, Chief Accountant Joy McClard, Deputy City Clerk ABSENT: Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk ACCEPTANCE OF THE MINUTES Mayor and Council accepted the minutes of the regular meeting of April 19, 1983 as presented. \PPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mayor Meier requested two items be added to the agenda under the City Attorney's report - Mayor's Proclamation - Small Businesses Week and Medema Homes Request. Councilman Fauson requested that the Special Events License Applications - American Legion to raise funds for Crime Stoppers, be added under Council Items. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that the agenda be approved as amended. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that the items enclosed be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS L.D.C. - REPORT AND REQUEST FOR FUNDS Counci1members had a copy of the report and request from the Louisville Downtown Development Corporation. The funding request was for an additional $25,000.00 on June 1, 1983 provided through the Homart Agreement.
