8/17/82

Page -6-

Second issue would not be considered without
that. The medium income that is being con-
sidered would be eligible families with an
annual family income of $30,300.00 for the
first 50% of the bond issue available. Should
that not be used in the first 30 days, then
eligible home purchasers up to $36,350.00
would be considered for the second portion
of the money.

Councilman Leary

Requested of Administrator Wurl that some
type of announcement of the availability of
these funds be put in the paper and perhaps
a flier that could be given to the various
developers so if their price qualifies they
could give them to the individuals.

Question called for on the motion. All in
favor. Motion carried unanimously.

RESOLUTION #29 - NORTHERN
NATURAL GAS PIPELINE CO.
SPECIAL REVIEW USE

Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution
in its entirety and each councilmember had
a copy.

Director of Community Development Rupp ad-
vised Council that the pipeline would be
running through agriculturally and commer-
cially zoned landfor a total distance of
9,994 feet, which will run within the city
limits of Louisville. Two wells lay on
property which has been dedicated to the City.
The pipeline system will consist of an 8"
main line and all of the wells will then be
connected to the main line by 4" collection
lines. Above ground fixtures will consist
of a meter setting at each well and a block
valve on each connecting line. All lines
will be buried at a depth of 48 inches.
Construction period for the entire system will
be approximately 6 weeks, and pipeline is
expected to remain in use for about 30 years.
John Lanterman of the Planning Dept. conducted
a survey as to the fee and a copy was pro-
vided councilmembers - $50/rod for granting
an easement to Northern appeared to be an
acceptable one. If the Special Review Use
is granted, the City will receive approximately
$16,950 for 339 rods. TWe Planning Commission
recommended approval of the Special Review
Use for Northern Natural Gas Company.
