<br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #750 - MAYOR VOTING <br />2ND READING <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ATTORNEY'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />STORER CABLE TV REPORT <br /> <br />JOE TENNESSEN <br /> <br />1/5/82 <br /> <br />Page -5- <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by <br />title. only and certified proper publication. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance =In 50 <br />Mayor Voting be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man Curnrnings. Roll call vote: <br />Domenico No <br />Meier Yes <br />Brown No <br />DelPizzo Yes <br />Cummings Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Motion carried 4-2. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City Attor- <br />ney's report be accepted and placed on file. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Administrator 1.Jurl advised Council approved <br />an extension for Storer Cable TV and the <br />extension has now expired and installation <br />has not been completed as provided in the <br />agreement" Mr. Tennessen was present to <br />update the progress. <br /> <br />Reported a meeting was held with the con- <br />struction people and they were well aware <br />of their responsibilities relative to the <br />agreement. He thanked all members of council <br />and staff for their patience and cooperation. <br />Each member of council was given a written <br />progress installation report. He stated <br />the Louisville television system is approxi- <br />mately 3l;~ miles in length - 21 miles under- <br />ground and 10~ miles overhead. 106,000 ft. <br />of the underground wire has been installed - <br />7,000 ft. yet to be installed - 50% of this <br />has been delayed because of a disagreement <br />with a landowner for an easement. This <br />is being redesigned thru a city easement. <br />This will take approximately 8 to 9 days. <br />The crews have been working 7 days a week <br />since December 5, 1981. Everything should <br />be on linl: by January 16, 1982 with the ex- <br />ception of the apartment complexes. All the <br />overhead installation has been completed. <br />The offiCI: building is complete, landscaping, <br />street improvements and urban drainage will <br />be done soon, 'weather permitting. <br />
