Another 300 cards will be sent <br />out this week and the rest of them by next <br />week. To date they have sold 125 homes - <br />approximately 75% to 80%. Installations <br />were begun December 19, 1981-46 have been <br />installed, averaging 20 a day. Additional <br />marketing and installers have been hired <br />and a minimum of 40 per day will be installed, <br />with 20 channels available. Hr. Tennessen <br />named all the programs available and reaffirmed <br />per Councilman Meier's request, that additional <br />programs l;l7ould be added to the system without <br />additional cost as they become available. <br />The Parkwood Subdivision was the first to <br />be installed. From a map he informed Council <br />which areas would be completed. <br /> <br />Inquired how the new areas would be handled. <br />Tennessen advised they would follow the other <br />utilities with joint trench, and hook-up as <br />new owners moved in. <br /> <br />Councilman Heier <br /> <br />~ouncilman DelPizzo <br /> <br />Asked what the complete package would cost? <br />Tennessen advised from $7.50 to $35.00 depend- <br />ing on the programs selected - per month for <br />each television set. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Stated that Storer Cable TV Co. was exceeding <br />the time extension, as stated in the memo <br />from Administrator Wurl, but should still be <br />allowed to finish installation, and confirmed <br />with Attorney that a 10 day written notice IIllSt be <br />given before penalties can be assessed. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Stated that Storer Cable TV was in violation <br />of the agreement and it was his opinion they <br />should be given 10 days notice in order not <br />to set a precedence with other contracts. <br /> <br />LETTER TO BE SENT BY ATTORNEY Councilman Fauson moved that the City Attorney <br />THAT STORER CABLE TV IN VIOLATION send a letter to Storer Cable TV that they <br />OF CONTRACT are in violation of their agreement, giving <br />them 10 days notice. Hotion defeated for <br />lack of a second. <br /> <br />Councilman Neier moved that the City Attorney <br />be authorized to send a letter to Storer <br />Cable TV that if within 10 days from this <br />
