<br />OPEN SPACE AREA <br /> <br />Councilman Curnn1ings <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22 - CENTENNIAL <br />VALLEY I - REPLAT & P.U.D. <br /> <br />TABLED <br /> <br />9/15/81 <br /> <br />Page-9- <br /> <br />Director Rupp advised this subdivision <br />was basically the replat of Centennial <br />Valley I - located at Pine Street and <br />Roover Ave. consisting of 30.92 acres, <br />zoned RE - Residential Estates. The <br />plan is for 110 duplex units in lieu <br />of 105 detached single family homes. <br />The open space areas will be dedicated <br />to the City and will be fully improved <br />with bike trails, sod, irrigation system, <br />trees, etc. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci wanted to verify the amount <br />of open space to be dedicated at 19+ acres, <br />and how rr~ch of the area would be in grass. <br />Director Rioco advised approximately 5 acres, <br />and the outer areas will be natural grasses <br />with an irrigation system provided. <br />11ayor Caranci then asked approximately how <br />much water the open space would require. <br />Director Rioco advised approximately 3 <br />times a week it would be irrigated. <br />Mayor Caranci asked if there were enough <br />personnel to maintain the area. <br />Rioco advised the present staff would be <br />sufficient. <br /> <br />Remarked the words "large drainage easement," <br />"retention pond", "native grass."wondered <br />if this would cause the same problem that <br />has plagued the City at Lake Park. <br />Rioco advised that it would not, if properly <br />maintained and graded correctly. <br /> <br />Councilman Heier moved that Resolution ift2l <br />Sundance Replat and P.U.D. be adopted. <br />Seconded by Councilman Brown. Question <br />called for. All in favor. l1otion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus requested this item <br />be tabled per the developer. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution <br />1/:22 - Centennial Valley I Replat & P.U.D. <br />be tabled. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />
