Applicability. <br />This chapter regulates the design and construction of residential and <br />commercial heated structures constructed pursuant to the 2018 International Energy <br />Conservation Code, adopted pursuant to Section 15.18.0103 of this Code, for <br />purposes of energy efficiency. <br />Sec. 15.60.020. Insulation. <br />All insulation in residential and commercial heated structures shall meet the <br />following standards (including core/shell): <br />1. R-49 Ceiling. <br />2. R-21 Exterior Walls. <br />R-19 Basement Walls. <br />4. R-38 Under Floors (with unconditioned space below). <br />R-10 Under Concrete Slabs. <br />6.
