Approval of 2022 Annual Fuel Purchase <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />None. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Durbin reminded everyone that displaced voters should update their voter <br />registration so they are able to vote in the April 19 special election even in they are not <br />currently living in town. <br />He stated the Private Property Debris Removal Program has been delayed due to a <br />lawsuit related to the contract. He stated he is hopeful this will not delay things very long <br />but there are steps that have to play out before things can move forward. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />UPDATE FROM INSURANCE COMMISSIONER MICHAEL CONWAY <br />Commissioner Conway stated the Insurance Division is working to determine how big a <br />problem under insurance is for those who lost homes and how the insurance companies <br />have valued homes. They have been working to get detailed information from insurance <br />companies about how they are responding. He discussed some of the regulations <br />insurance companies should be following. Once the data has been collected it will be <br />shared with the public. <br />Conway stated insurance companies are required to offer Law & Ordinance Coverage <br />(L&O) which his meant to pay for updates required to bring properties up to current <br />building codes when rebuilding. If someone was not offered it when they purchases <br />their insurance they should file a complaint with his office. <br />
