Administrator Wurl advised that there were a number of concerns voiced about building code violations, but they were corrected. Councilman Domenico commented that he was aware of two problems that existed on Mr. Jenkins property - one, water draining in his basement and two - the shoring that he was requested to install is no longer there. Attorney Joss advised that some of these problems are being pursued and Mr. Jenkins is to appear in muncipal court on May 4, 1981 for a trial on building code violations. Stated he recalled that the County had condemned the building when it was being used as the Baptist Church, this was the reason for them building a new Church. It was also his understanding that when the Baptist Church people sold the building, it was to be torn down and a residence be con- structed. The second owner in turn resold the building without improving it. He suggested that another inspection be made of the building. Mayor Caranci recommended that the building inspector make this inspection. Councilman Domenico moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman l1eier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. None. Administrator Wurl wished Councilman Carnival the very best in his new location. Inquired of City Engineer Blanchard if there would be a possibility of obtaining a left turn signal at Highway 42 and South Boulder Road, does the City qualify? Engineer Blanchard advised since this is on the State system, we could request that a study be made. Councilman Cumrnings requested the study be made. Councilman Cummings wished Councilman Carnival good luck and hated to see him leave.
