<br />AV Screen <br /> <br />Centennial Valley Mall <br /> <br />Sewer Extension <br /> <br />Request for Mr. Kahan <br />of CVM to attend next meeting <br /> <br />4/21/81 <br /> <br />Page - 8 - <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival requested that Attorney <br />Joss contact the insurance company and <br />Mr. Woodbury to get the problem resolved. <br />He also suggested that Mr. Wurl contact <br />the 3 people involved and let them know <br />we are concerned. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival inquired why this <br />it not being utilized. in the council room. <br />Director Rupp advised that they had used <br />this at the last Planning Commission meeting. <br />He also stated that the applicants now are <br />required to provide 35 MM slides of new <br />developments, and this is being phased in. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival askedcif there was any <br />activity planned for the Centennial Valley <br />Mall, and expressed his disappointment <br />that nothing had been done since the Special <br />Election approximately 2 months ago. <br />He then suggested that perhaps it should be <br />called up for review before the Planning <br />Commission. <br />He also stated that the people who supported <br />the mall are concerned and if Mr. Kahan gets <br />these people against him he is in big trouble. <br />Mr. Wurl suggested that Council instruct <br />him to ask Mr. Kahan to come here and tell <br />us what he is going to do. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci informed Council that he spoke <br />with some of their people on Sunday and they <br />stated within two weeks the project will <br />get underway. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl advised that the plans and specs <br />are out in the hands of bidders for the <br />sewer line extension. The bid is to be <br />awarded on April 23, 1981, and construction <br />will be started within 10 days. Hr. Wurl <br />also expressed his confidence that this <br />would be done, and he agreed with Council <br />that Mr. Kahan should come to the City <br />Council meeting . <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved that Administrator <br />Wurl be instructed to contact Mr. Donald <br />Kahan to visit with the City Council and <br />Planning Cornnission at our earliest con- <br />venience. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />
