<br />1/20/81 <br /> <br />Page - 2 - <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION - SPECIAL <br />EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the <br />Special Events Liquor License <br />request was for two nights - Febr- <br />uary 27, 1981 commencing from 6:00 <br />P.M. continuing until 2:00 A.M., <br />the second date March 27, 1981 for <br />the same times. He advised Council <br />the application was in order and <br />the proper publication had been <br />madE~ . <br />Mayor Caranci opened the public hear- <br />ing and asked if there was anyone <br />present in support of the application. <br />None. Anyone present opposed to <br />the application - None. Staff re- <br />marks - None. <br />He then closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the <br />American Legion - Special Events <br />Liquor License be approved for <br />February 27, 1981 and March 27, 1981. <br />Seconded by Councilman Fauson. <br />Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried 6-0 <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE FIRE DEPT. SPECIAL <br />EVENTS BEER LICENSE - SET DATE <br />FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised that the Fire <br />Department had submitted an applica- <br />tion for a Special Events 3.2% Beer <br />License for Feb. 28, 1981 from 8:00 <br />A.M.. till 12:00 midnight. He <br />suggested a public hearing to be <br />set for February 3, 1981. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING DATE SET <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the <br />Louisville Fire Dept. Special Events <br />3.2~~ Beer License public hearing <br />date be February 3, 1981. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />SAFEWAY STORE - APPROVE <br />CHANGE OF CORPORATE OFFICERS <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised Council that <br />whenever there is a change in <br />Corporate Officers, the new officer <br />submit his application to the City <br />Council as the Liquor Board for <br />approval. - Clifford L. Gant to <br />succeed James McGinty as Controller <br />of the Safeway Store, Inc. He ad- <br />vised that everything was in order <br />
