1/20/81 Page - 2 - AMERICAN LEGION - SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Joss reported that the Special Events Liquor License request was for two nights - Febr- uary 27, 1981 commencing from 6:00 P.M. continuing until 2:00 A.M., the second date March 27, 1981 for the same times. He advised Council the application was in order and the proper publication had been madE~ . Mayor Caranci opened the public hear- ing and asked if there was anyone present in support of the application. None. Anyone present opposed to the application - None. Staff re- marks - None. He then closed the public hearing. APPROVAL Councilman DelPizzo moved that the American Legion - Special Events Liquor License be approved for February 27, 1981 and March 27, 1981. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0 LOUISVILLE FIRE DEPT. SPECIAL EVENTS BEER LICENSE - SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Joss advised that the Fire Department had submitted an applica- tion for a Special Events 3.2% Beer License for Feb. 28, 1981 from 8:00 A.M.. till 12:00 midnight. He suggested a public hearing to be set for February 3, 1981. PUBLIC HEARING DATE SET Councilman Domenico moved that the Louisville Fire Dept. Special Events 3.2~~ Beer License public hearing date be February 3, 1981. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. SAFEWAY STORE - APPROVE CHANGE OF CORPORATE OFFICERS Attorney Joss advised Council that whenever there is a change in Corporate Officers, the new officer submit his application to the City Council as the Liquor Board for approval. - Clifford L. Gant to succeed James McGinty as Controller of the Safeway Store, Inc. He ad- vised that everything was in order
