<br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />SAFETY MEETINGS <br /> <br />SPRUCE STREET <br /> <br />ADVERTISING OF POSITIONS <br /> <br />SNOW REMOVAL <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />December 4, 1979 <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that he wants to <br />have minutes of the safety meetings held. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that due to the bad <br />weather there have not been any meetings <br />held; however, he has submitted a memo <br />to Mr. McNulty instructing him to hold <br />the meetings. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked about the repairs <br />on Spruce St. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there have not been <br />any repairs as one other line needs to <br />be made and the old lines disconnected. <br />As soon as the weather clears they will <br />take care of the problem. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />staff advertise for the positions of <br />City Attorney, Prosecuting Attorney and <br />Municipal Judge to be appointed at the <br />January 8, meeting. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated his concern <br />about rental units and businesses not <br />cleaning their walks. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that he was also <br />concerned about the elderly getting out <br />to clean their walks when there has been <br />a bad storm. <br />He requested that the City compile a list <br />of interested persons who would be willing <br />to shovel walks for the elderly or whomever <br />desires it be done. <br />Mr. Stahl reported that they have put an <br />add in the paper for interested parties <br />to submit their name at the Parks Dept. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Council <br />Comments and committee reports be accepted <br />and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry. Motion carried. <br />
