<br />Minutes - page 8 <br />November 27, 1979 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />FLUORIDE IN WATER <br /> <br />Councilman MEier asked if staff had <br />checked about the fluoride content in <br />the City water, as Boulder County <br />health dep1:. states that Louisville does <br />not have enough in their water. <br />Mr. Wurl s1:ated that he will check it <br />out and report back. <br /> <br />WATER LINE ON SPRUCE ST. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that the line has not <br />been totally completed; however, when <br />the weather clears they will finish the <br />work. <br /> <br />SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that the City has <br />the necessary safety equipment for cer- <br />tain jobs and wants the City crew to <br />begin using it when necessary. <br /> <br />WATER PLANT VISIT <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he visited <br />with Stan Wallis, the water plant oper- <br />ator, and recommended that everyone <br />try to get up there to see how the <br />system works. <br />He complimented Mr. Wallis on his <br />work and organization. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the <br />Council comments and committee reports <br />be accepted and placed onfile. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Meier. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read bills to- <br />talling $43,531.68. Councilman <br />Caranci moved that the bills be accepted <br />and checks issued for the same. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilman Meier moved that the meeting <br />be adjourned until November 29, 1979, <br />at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. .Motion carried. <br />
