<br />Minutes - page 13 <br />March 20, 1979 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 637 & 638 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Attorney Joss responded it was his opinion <br />that a new petition would have to be sub- <br />mitted as the framing of the referendum <br />petition is different then what would be <br />required for an initiative petition. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked David Stahl about <br />the park acreage. Mr. Stahl stated that <br />the total is 49 acres, 42 in the Harper <br />Lake area and 7 acres is South Park near <br />the elementary school. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked Mr. Wurl about <br />the police schedule. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the figures were taken <br />on a standard basis and would have to be <br />reviewed again. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked if the land set <br />aside for schools and churches was deeded <br />over to the City. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that school property is <br />usually deeded over to the City and the <br />church sites are held by the property <br />owner. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked about drilling. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City regulations <br />have been revised to allow drilling under <br />special use review. <br /> <br />After discussion Mayor Waschak closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 637 <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the emer- <br />gency ordinance, Ordinance No. 637 be <br />adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Roll call. Meier yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />Kilker yes, Berry yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />No. 638 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Kilker. Roll call. Kilker yes <br />Caranci yes, Meier yes, Berry yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 638 <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />
