SHARING & <br />1979 BUDGET <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that the total re- <br />venues for 1979 less transfers was <br />$6,322,046.00. <br />Expenditures less transfers: $5,903,235.00. <br /> <br />Federal Revenue Sharing portion of the <br />budget is anticipated at: <br /> <br />Revenues: $40,800 <br />Expenditures: $40,800 <br /> <br />Mr. ~Jurl reported that the City has <br />dropped 2~7 mills and the fire district <br />will be picking up that plus alittle <br />more. <br /> <br />Mr. Peter Garcia, TriCity Counciling <br />Service, asked about his request for <br />$3,000 to help defray costs of their <br />serviries which are extended to persons <br />within the City of Louisville. <br />Mr. Wurl responded that the Council <br />chose not to include the request in the <br />budget. <br />Mr. Garcia requested that he be sent a <br />letter stating that the request was not <br />included in the 1979 budget. <br /> <br />There were no other comments. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 32 <br />ADOPTING THE 1979 BUDGET <br /> <br />Mr. Hurl read Resolution No. 32, Series <br />1978, adopting the 1979 budget. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution <br />No. 32, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Kilker. <br />Roll call. Berry yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker <br />yes, Meier yes, DiCarlo no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 33 <br />LEVYING TAXES <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution No. 33, Series <br />1978. <br />Councilman Meier moved that Resolution <br />No. 33, be adopted. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #622 <br />FIRST READING <br />MONEY APPROPRIATIONS <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them <br />a copy of Ordinance #622, appropriating <br />monies for the 1979 budget, for their <br />review and files. <br />Mr. Wurl read the ordinance on first <br />reading. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 622 be ordered published. Seconded <br />by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br />
