PROCLAMATION <br />NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY <br />WHEREAS, the first annual National Scrapbook Day will be held on May 6, 1995 in locations <br />throughout the United States and Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, National Scrapbook Day encourages the safe preservation of photographs and <br />family stories through hands-on education, instruction and motivation; and <br />WHEREAS, National Scrapbook Day is an event which enlightens people to the benefits of <br />organizing and displaying their photographs and stories in a safe, meaningful and <br />creative way; and <br />WHEREAS, National Scrapbook Day offers people the opportunity to preserve their past, <br />enrich their present and inspire hope for their future. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Tom Davidson, Mayor of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado this 21 st day of March, 1995, do hereby set aside and proclaim the first <br />Saturday of May each year to be <br />NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY <br />in the City of Louisville and do furthermore encourage the citizens of Louisville to show their <br />support for their heritage through encouragement and participation. <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Maj-Lis Kemp y Cler <br />
