(�nlnrtt�n <br />PrIortamatton <br />(:7 <br />RECYCLING MONTH <br />WHEREAS, Louisville now has recycling available through three haulers within <br />the City, and; <br />WHEREAS, Louisville's Recycling Drop -Off Center has recycled over 500,000 <br />pounds of glass, newspaper and aluminum, and; <br />WHEREAS, Louisville's Recycling Center was recognized with the Innovative <br />Program Award through the Colorado Municipal League, and; <br />WHEREAS, Louisville's Recycling Board continues to work on ways to further <br />efforts and promote recycling, and; <br />i'REAS, the City of'Louisville is currently involved in recycling, conducting <br />a waste audit and assessing methods to conserve energy and water, and; <br />WHEREAS, June has been designated as Recycling Month in Colorado, to recognize <br />the benefits of recycling on our society, and; <br />WHEREAS, it is admirable public policy to recognize and support the common good <br />which results from recycling. <br />NOW, THEREFORE,I, Herman Fauson, Mayor of the City of Louisville, proclaim the <br />month of June as Recycling Month in Louisville to honor all the residents of <br />Louisville. <br />Jn cvitness cvfxe¢eof _q grave fizLzunto set my <br />gland u►rd c ed is se & affixed. <br />ATTEST: <br />GATE: June 4, 1991 <br />kY <br />r <br />
