City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 16, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />Pam Pallizono, Louisville, stated she was shocked the City chose to have fireworks this <br />year after the Marshall Fire. She lives near the launch area and stated she had multiple <br />embers on her roof and much debris in her yard following the show. She asked the <br />Council to consider moving the fireworks away from the Coal Creek Golf Course or <br />move to a drone show. <br />Amy Austin, Louisville, asked the Council to prioritize a discussion of Accessory <br />Dwelling Units (ADUs). She would like the Council to consider allowing ADUs and <br />specifically changing the rules so those rebuilding from the Marshall Fire can consider <br />adding a legal ADU. They are a great way to bring affordable housing to town, help <br />create senior housing, keep young people in town. <br />Josh Cooperman, Louisville, noted the waste removal price increase on the consent <br />agenda and asked Council to consider adding multi family housing, HOAs, and <br />commercial buildings to the contract waste contract when it is renewed to help increase <br />recycling rates in Louisville. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked <br />for a motion. Motion: Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, <br />seconded by Councilmember Most. Vote: All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes: June 7; June 21; July 21 <br />C. Award Bid for 2022 Water Main Replacement Project <br />D. Approval of Contract for Lot Grading Review of Marshall Fire <br />Building Permits with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. <br />G. Approval To Decline Right of First Refusal to Purchase 115 West <br />Cherry Street, Louisville, Colorado 80027 <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Councilmember Brown stated he is attending this evening due to the importance of the <br />use tax item although he has recently lost his grandfather. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />
