Cityo <br />f <br />'6Louisvi-11e <br />COLORADO - SINCE 1878 <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 9, 2022 <br />Library 111 Floor Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson David Blankenship called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: David Blankinship, Laura Scott Denton, Charles Danforth, <br />Susan McEachern, Jessamine Fitzpatrick (remote) <br />Board Members Absent: Helen Moshak <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Brendan Close (new Senior Natural Resource <br />Specialist) <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — The minutes from the October 12, 2022 meeting were <br />approved with amendment of Item 8 in paragraph 4, the sentence, "Ember reported that <br />the staff doesn't know of any," refers specifically to accidents on the section of the trail <br />being proposed for paving. <br />Public Comments - None <br />Staff Updates - See updates on page 11-12 of the October 2022, OSAB Meeting packet. <br />Further updates and explanations were done in the meeting by Ember. <br />Ember introduced Brendan Close, the new staff Senior Natural Resource Specialist. <br />Davidson Mesa trail repair work is ongoing this week. Next week, there will be seeding. This <br />work was funded by a grant. <br />The 104th Street Trail work will be starting at the Aquarius end first. Staff are still working on <br />testing and approving trail materials. Ember thinks the work in the field will be begin within the <br />month.
