<br />Minutes - page 2 <br />September 20, 1978 <br /> <br />STREET OVERLAY <br />SIEGREST CONST. <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the payment due Siegrest <br />Construction. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that $31,693.27 <br />be paid to Siegrest Const. for work done <br />on the St. Overlay Project. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Meier <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Kilker <br />yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING <br />FOR BUDGET - 1979 <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that October 17, 1978, <br />be set as the date for the 1979 budget pub- <br />lic hearing. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />MARY DHIEUX <br /> <br />Mrs. Dhieux requested that Council check <br />into the matter of a survey for putting <br />up a fence. She stated that several other <br />people are putting up fences and did not <br />need to have surveys made. <br />Council stated that they would have the <br />matter checked into. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF <br />NEW POLICE OFFICER <br /> <br />Chief Munger introdued Lynn Hamilton as <br />the new patrolman for the City. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #606 <br />C & S RAILROAD ANNEX- <br />ATION PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance #606 on second <br />reading by title only. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Don Houlehan, representing the C & S RR <br />spoke in favor of the annexation. <br />There were no other comments. Public <br />hearing was closed and Councilman Caranci <br />moved that Ordinance ~606 be adopted. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Mr. Drumm reported that the area is within <br />the comprehensive plan, the Planning Com- <br />mission recommended annexation and the <br />building will be done under P.U.D. <br />With no other remarks roll call vote was <br />taken to adopt Ordinance #606. <br />Kilker yes, Meier yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #607 <br />C & S RAILROAD ZONING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance #607 on se- <br />cond reading by title only. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing <br />Don Houlehan, representing the C & S RR <br />again spoke in favor of the zoning. <br />There were no other comments. Public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Councilman Kilker moved that Ordinance #607 <br />
