<br />PARKS REPORT <br />VANDALISM ETC. <br />ORDINANCE #620 <br /> <br />ANIMAL CONTROL ORD. <br /> <br />LIQUOR LICENSE CONTROL <br />BOARD <br /> <br />FIRE DEPT. SPECIAL EVENTS <br />LIQUOR LICENSE APP. <br /> <br />Minutes - page 5 <br />September 20, 1978 <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reviewed his report on park <br />abuse, including alcohol in the parks. <br /> <br />Discussion included Ordinance #620 re- <br />garding alcohol in the parks. <br />After comments Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Ordinance #620 be tabled until the <br />next regular council meeting and that <br />the ordinance be discussed at the work <br />session on September 26th. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. DelPizzo <br />yes, Meier no, DiCarlo yes, Kilker no, <br />Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss presented a rough draft of <br />a animal control ordinance. <br />Council discussed the matter and felt that <br />the ordinance needed to be rewritten. <br /> <br />Mr. Joss discusaed the possibility of a <br />liquor license control board stating that <br />it would act as a recommending board to <br />Council. The board would review each <br />license and come up with a recommendation <br />for approval or denial. <br />Councilman Caranci opposed the idea of another <br />board. <br />Councilman DiCarlo was in favor of the board. <br />Councilman Meier stated that he would like <br />to review the rules before making any <br />comments. <br />Councilman DelPizzo did not feel the board <br />was necessary. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the liquor <br />license control board be disapproved. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Roll call. Caranci yes, Meier no, Kilker <br />yes, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the application <br />is in good order and that the request is <br />for December 2, 1978, the Mayor's Christmas <br />party. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that a public hear- <br />ing be set for October 17, 1978, for the <br />liquor license request. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Motion carried. <br />
