City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />07/20/09 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None <br />CONSIDERATION OF BID FOR HVAC AT RECREATION CENTER <br />The Public Works Director, Parks & Recreation Director, and Facilities Manager <br />reviewed options and made recommendations on the bids for the Recreation <br />Center Pool Pak, Roof, and HVAC projects. The presentation can be located on <br />the City's website at www.louisvilleco.gov. The Committee approved the <br />recommendations with additional funding to come from the elimination of other <br />capital projects and/or a transfer from the Building Maintenance Fund. <br />PRESENTATION OF AUDIT MANAGEMENT LETTER <br />Dave DeZutter, Eide Bailly, reviewed the 2008 Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report and the 2008 Audit Management Letter. Both documents along with <br />corresponding narrative from the Finance Department can be located on the <br />City's website at www.louisvilleco.gov. <br />APPROVAL OF $2,000 CONTRIBUTION TO NW RAIL AND US 36 CORRIDOR <br />BRT TRAVEL DEMAND MODEL AND PASSENGER FORECASTS REVIEW <br />The Mayor moved to recommended approval of the $2,000 contribution. <br />Councilor Sackett seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The proposal <br />can be located on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.gov. <br />UPDATE ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br />The Finance Director presented an update of the Financial Management System <br />selection process. A copy of the memorandum can be located on the City's <br />website at www.louisvilleco.gov. <br />UPDATE ON BUDGET PROCESS <br />The Finance Director gave an update on the budget request process. A copy of <br />the budget request instructions and forms sent to all departments can be located <br />on the City's website at www.louisvilleco.gov. <br />SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED MAY 31, 2009 <br />The Tax Manager presented the May 31, 2009 Sales Tax Report.
