<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 19, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, <br />DiCarlo and DelPizzo. Councilman McDonald had submitted her resignation <br />effective July 6, 1977. <br />Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City <br />Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF HILLS- <br />BOROUGH NORTH DEED <br /> <br />LAKE PARK PLANS <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council accepted the minutes <br />of the July 5, 1977, Council meeting as read. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Council needed to accept <br />the Hillsborough North Deed for Tracts A & B. <br />Mr. Drumm stated that the land is located <br />around the railroad track right-of-way. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he was not <br />happy with the location and felt that the <br />developers should give the City better <br />property to work with. <br />Councilmml DelPizzo stated that it should <br />be considered of having two park areas <br />contiguous for the possibility of building <br />a golf course. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that in the past the land <br />that has been given to the City has been <br />the land that was designated on the compo <br />plan as the area the City wanted. It was <br />also brought up about the plans for <br />seeding the area. Mr. Wurl stated that the <br />developer has put up 110% of the cost for <br />the seeding and job. <br />After discussion Councilman DiLorenzo moved <br />that the City accept the deed for Hills- <br />borough North Tracts A & B. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico <br />yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />and DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Planner Drumm presented that plan for Lake <br />Park to Council stating that it would be an <br />extensive bicycle path with physical fitness <br />pads along the trail. He stated that at the <br />lake there would be a shelter area for <br />picnics or a warming area for winter ice <br />skating. He stated that the grass would be <br />natural grasses that would not require <br />regular irregation. <br />Mr. Drumm noted that the total cost of the <br />project was $76,000 which the Bureau of Out- <br />door Recreation will pay half and the Parks <br />Department will pay the other half. <br />
