<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 19, 1976 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />fOllowing Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, <br />DiCarlo, DelPizzo and McDonald. Others present: City Administrator <br />Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Engineer White, City Planner Drumm, <br />City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Council approved the minutes of the October <br />5, 1976, Council meeting as read. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />WALDO'S LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that this license is a <br />change from the old license to a tavern <br />license. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked for a police re- <br />port. Mr. Wurl stated that he did not call <br />for one. <br />Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the <br />action on the renewal be tabled until the <br />next meeting and the police report is re- <br />viewed. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />1977 BUDGET PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the budget is now in <br />balance and the staff has submitted addi- <br />tional modifications. <br />1. General Fund which provided for an <br />increase for highways and streets has been <br />reduced back to $180,375. <br />On pages 2 and 3 are detailed analysis <br />of the highways and street breakdowns. <br /> <br />Page 4 is the water construction and capitol <br />improvement budget. <br />In order to balance with the budget, the <br />amount of distribution, maintenance and <br />accessories was reduced to $423,507. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the reason for these <br />changes was. <br />1. A substantial amount of water main <br />improvements were done under the bond issue. <br />2. In the event the City receives a grant <br />for storm sewers from EDA and Council and <br />LURA agree, the money set aside for storm <br />sewers can be put into water line replace- <br />ment. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution #18 pertaining to <br />the adoption of the 1977 budget. <br />Mayor Waschak opened a public hearing. <br />There were no comments and the public <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18 <br />BUDGET ADOPTION <br />
