REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 5, 1976 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order the fOllowing Council members present: Domenico, DiCarlo, McDonald and DelPizzo. Others present: Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Engineer White, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. at 7:30 P.M. with DiLorenzo, Caranci, City Administrator City Planner Drumm, ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and council approved the minutes as read. COUNCIL ITEMS LURA APPOINTMENT Councilman Caranci moved that Bob Hinsberger be approved to serve on the LURA Board. Seconded by Council- man McDonald. Motion carried. There are still two vacancies remaining. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Mr. Wurl stated that the staff re- commends that Council formally adopt the Capital Improvement Program as presented. Mr. Wurl noted that this adoption does not necessarily deal with the type of financing; this can be de- cided on at a later date. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Coun- cil adopt the Capital Improvement Program as recommended by staff. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. This deals with priorities only. After discussion the motion was carried. PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT ACT OF 1976 Mr. Wurl stated that the information was previously submitted to Council on what staffs feeling were on top priorities of the Public Employment Act of 1976. He stated that the City needs to get their application in as soon as possible. Pine Street Storm Sewer, Water Treatment Plant and City Hall remodeling would be the three items that grants would be applied for. Councilman McDonald moved that the Council authorize the City Administrator to apply for grants for the three top priorities. Seconded by Council- man DelPizzo. Councilman DiCarlo asked why Street Overlay was not included.
