<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 5, 1976 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order <br />the fOllowing Council members present: Domenico, <br />DiCarlo, McDonald and DelPizzo. Others present: <br />Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Engineer White, <br />City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />at 7:30 P.M. with <br />DiLorenzo, Caranci, <br />City Administrator <br />City Planner Drumm, <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and council approved the <br />minutes as read. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />LURA APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Bob <br />Hinsberger be approved to serve on <br />the LURA Board. Seconded by Council- <br />man McDonald. Motion carried. <br />There are still two vacancies remaining. <br /> <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the staff re- <br />commends that Council formally adopt <br />the Capital Improvement Program as <br />presented. <br />Mr. Wurl noted that this adoption <br />does not necessarily deal with the <br />type of financing; this can be de- <br />cided on at a later date. <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Coun- <br />cil adopt the Capital Improvement <br />Program as recommended by staff. <br />Seconded by Councilman McDonald. <br />This deals with priorities only. <br />After discussion the motion was carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT <br />ACT OF 1976 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the information <br />was previously submitted to Council <br />on what staffs feeling were on top <br />priorities of the Public Employment <br />Act of 1976. <br />He stated that the City needs to <br />get their application in as soon as <br />possible. Pine Street Storm Sewer, <br />Water Treatment Plant and City Hall <br />remodeling would be the three items <br />that grants would be applied for. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the <br />Council authorize the City Administrator <br />to apply for grants for the three <br />top priorities. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked why Street <br />Overlay was not included. <br />
