RESOLUTION #17 WYMAN ST. CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT LETTER TO THE BOULDER COUNTY LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMISSION Attorney Morris stated that there has been much confusion on the portion of South Boulder Road that is named Wyman Street. He stated that it is the people in the area request that the street be redesignated as South Boulder Road to be in conformance with the rest of the plans and road. This is also shown on the P.U.D. plan of the area up there, so to avoid confusion this request has been made. Staff stated that they would like to have the Resolution passed tonight for the purpose of validity for the post office and utility companies. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would like to have the other streets looked into before the final ordinance is drafted for the Wyman St. name change. Mr. Wurl stated that he would get the in- formation together on street names for Council to review before any ordinance is brought in. Attorney Morris read the Resolution. After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved that Resolution #17, Series 1976, be adopted as read. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes, Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes. Motion carried. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. City Administrator Wurl reviewed correspondence. Mr. Wurl stated that staff needed authori- zation to send the letter which points out the items that the City disagreed with in the plan that Jason Brouliette presented. It is staffs feelings that the City plan should be adopted and the City should point out the areas of difference between our plan and the county's and the reasons why the City staff feels they are important. JMr. Wurl stated that the matter will come up before the Long Range Planning Conunission on August 25, at 2:30 P.M. Councilman Domenico moved that the City Admin- istrator send a letter to the Long Range Planning Conunission voicing the City's position. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. 6.
