I can't say that there is absolutely no probability of failure, I think I have read all the literature they have read, and I recognize the inability of the human to know every- thing and always predict the behavior nature, so I think there is some probability but when I take that one simple fact that in 97 years that the mines have been oper- ating in the Boulder Weld County field and over that 97 years there is not one single substantiated fact of failure or sub- sidence in a mine over 150 feet deep, I am perfectly willing to get up and take the responsibility. I will accept the liability or responsibility that there will not be failure to this land and it can be developed and can be developed to the benefit not only of this community but Boulder County and the people who work there; and I have my neck on the line. I can assure you that somebody loses the corner of their building out there as a result of subsidence and can prove it, I may be out of business. Pat Rogers has taken, I have read his comments, essentially they are general comments; they are related to what has happended in Pennsylvania or Rock Springs, Wyoming, Hungaria, they are facts and figures that can come out of any text book, also made some reinterpretations of our drill holes on this property. They were valid, I don't agree with them obviously; but then it was my people who drilled the holes, logged the holes, and wrote up the descriptions and he took our description and then reinterpreted them. It is sort of like me trying to rewrite Shakespeare. I could do it, but it wouldn't come out as well, because I don't have the experience. He has tried to do this to justify his position I can't accept that. The basic problem is in our professional differences, I see the fact that I have had to do the work or have done the work and reached certain conclusion on the basis of that work and have made certain recommendations. He has reviewed our work and has drawn other conclusions which he feels are in the best interest of the state; and that is the position that we are in. I would be glad to answer any questions. 7.
