Roll
call vote. DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes,
Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo
yes. Motion carried.

Steve Anderson informed Council that for
several months the LHA has been working
on a housing assistance plan. He stated
that the needs that were established are
for the elderly and low-income and moderate
income. In Louisville the number one
priority is for housing the senior citizens.
Mr. Anderson stated that at the end of May
HUD advertised for proposals under Sec-
tion 8, Rent subsidies program to be into
HUD's office for elderly housing projects.
The City is in District #3, this includes
a good portion of the metropolitan area.
Planning District #3 is the only area which
was given a deadline in which to have
proposals into HUD.
Mr. Anderson stated that LHA has named
the Colorado Housing, Inc., as the agent.
They are a nonprofit entity of the State
that assists rural communities in devel-
oping housing needs where they do not
have the staff to put the project together.
They are putting the entire City proposal
together cost free for this project.
The architect contract bid of George
Clayton & Assoc., had been approved by
the Board. They have done much work in
the housing projects and worked with
HUD and FHA.
Mr. Anderson reviewed the architects con-
tract and discussed how the site was de-
termined.
Mr. Anderson stated that the project
underway is made up of 30 units.
He also stated that the approximate cost
of construction would be $450,000; add-
itional community center would bring the
total construction cost up to $505,000.

4.
