ELDERLY HOUSING PROJECT CONTID CONTRACTURAL AGREEMENT PURCHASE AGREEMENT FIRST FEDERAL INVESTMENT CORPORATION - ELDERLY HOUSING PROJECT received because of a vacancy for two months. If it is longer then two months, Mr. Anderson stated that it would probably be the responsibility of the City to pay the payment; however, he did not feel that this would happen. He stated that the Boards want to fill the needs of the people in the City first and secondly, the needs of persons who have families in the City, but at present can not afford to reside in the City. Mr. Conarroe asked if there was auditing of the organization done by the City auditors. Mr. Wurl stated that the portion under LCDC was not, but all that is effected under the City LHA budget will be audited by the City. It was noted that bonds are put up also. Mr. Anderson stated that HUD also audits every quarter. There was a question on the amount of parking at the community center. Mr. Anderson stated that he felt it was fairly good; however, something could be worked out with the architect in the final plans if necessary. Mr. Anderson reviewed the different plans for the interior of the units. After discussion, Councilman Caranci moved that Council authorize the Mayor to sign the architectural contract. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call vote. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes. Motion carried. Mr. Anderson did note that he has spoken with Mr. Wurl in the possibility of turn- ing the 4 plex over to the City which would be City maintained. He stated that there are several items on the landscaping that will still need to be done. Councilman DiCarlo then moved that Council authorize the Mayor to sign the contract for purchase of land on Regal Street. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald abstained. Motion carried. 6.
