ORDINANCE NO. 1242, SERIES 1996 - AMENDING THE PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 17.28 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCORPORATE INTO SUCH REGULATIONS <br />SPECll~IC REFERENCES AND REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING COMMERCIAL AND <br />INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN GUIDELINES, TO SPECIFICALLY ADDRESS <br />THE EFFECT OF APPROVAL OF A PRELIMINARY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN, AND TO MAKE OTHER AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTERS 15.04, 17.16 AND 17.28 <br />OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH - 2ND <br />READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/27/97) - CONTINUED FROM <br />12/17/96 MEETING - RECOMMEND FURTHER CONTINUANCE TO MARCH 18, 1997, <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1242, Series 1997, "An ordinance amending the Planned <br />Unit Development Regulations contained in Chapter 17.28 of the Louisville Municipal Code to <br />incorporate into such regulations specific references and requirements concerning commercial and <br />industrial development; to specifically address the effect of approval of a Preliminary Planned Unit <br />Development Plan, and to make other amendments to Chapter 15.04, 17.16 and 17.28 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code in connection therewith." <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that a committee had been formed consisting of elected and <br />appointed officials from Council, Planning Commission, City staff, and commercial property <br />owners/developers, to make recommendations to improve the proposed guidelines. To allow the <br />committee to preform its task, it was recommended that this be continued to the March 18, 1997 <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council continue Ordinance No. 1242 to the March 18 Council meeting, <br />seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Lathrop being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6, SERIES 1997 - AMENDING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />FOR DAVIDSON HIGHLINE - RENTAL CENTER <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant was requesting to add two storage facilities <br />on Lot 1, a 30'x50' fully enclosed metal building, and a 25'x50' open equipment shelter. Planning <br />Commission approved their Resolution No. 1, Series 1997, on January 14, 1997. <br /> <br />Davidson pointed out that the "Davidson Highline" reference referred to the irrigation ditch behind <br />the Rental Center and had no association with himself. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Steve Taylor, 2103 North Hwy. 42, Louisville, Colorado, representing Robert and Carol Lathrop, <br />was there to answer any questions. <br /> <br /> <br />
