General Satisfaction With City Government <br />Satisfaction with City Employees: The vast majority -- more than <br />90% -- of those responding were "very satisfied" or "somewhat <br />satisfied" with their ability to reach city employees by <br />telephone and with the courtesy, responsiveness and friendliness <br />of city employees (see Table 2). However, nearly one-third (32%) <br />and 14%, respectively, of all survey respondents did not answer <br />these questions. <br />Satisfaction with City Government: Those responding were <br />considerably less satisfied with how the Louisville city <br />government operates. Two-thirds (65%) were "very satisfied" or <br />"somewhat satisfied." Of those who were dissatisfied, nearly <br />half (46%) cited council's responsiveness as a reason for their <br />dissatisfaction, while one in four (24%) mentioned "good ole <br />boys" and one -fifth (19%), the dump issue. <br />Differences by Ward: There were no statistically significant <br />differences among wards in satisfaction with city employees or <br />city government. <br />6 <br />
