Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes from the June 7, 2023 <br />Motion to approve — Signe <br />Seconded — Laurie <br />Minutes of June 7 meeting were unanimously approved with minor <br />corrections. <br />V. Public Comment on Issues not on the Agenda <br />None <br />VI. Staff Updates <br />Decarbonization <br />• Main focus for decarbonization is on building and structures but as it <br />impacts parks, this focus is on equipment <br />• Equipment: <br />o As we have funding and replacement plans, the city is looking <br />at electric as an option but this depends on what is available <br />that fits our needs. <br />o As we cycle out older equipment, we can look for an equal <br />match in an electric model; we need the best performance <br />match for our needs <br />o Need to make sure city infrastructure can support it. <br />o There may be new and improved electric equipment as we <br />look to replace in future years. <br />o The current electric equipment lasts for 4-5 hours per charge. <br />Staff can put the battery on the charger for the next user in the <br />same day. <br />o Need to document and onboard equipment while <br />decommissioning older equipment. <br />City of Louisville <br />Parks Division 749 Main Street Louisville, CO 80027 <br />303.335.4774 (phone) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />5 <br />
