Absent: Councilor Muckle. <br /> <br />PURC.iASE OF 834 FRONT STREET <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1550, SERIES 2009 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />PAYMENT OF CITY MONEYS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE <br />LOCATED AT 834 FRONT STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE _ 2ND <br />READING - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 24, SERIES 2009 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />PURCHASE CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL REAL ESTATE FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 834 FRONT <br />STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1550, Series 2009 and explained public <br />comment can be taken on both the ordinance and resolution. He noted the <br />resolution includes the property's purchase agreement <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the publilc hearing and requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Economic Development Director Star explained the existing parking lot at 834 <br />Front Street, north of the Steinbaugh Pavilion is used consistently for Pavilion <br />events, including WinterSkaIe, Farmer's Market, and the Street Faire. The <br />parking lot is owned by Arlin Lehman, who is willing to sell the property to the <br />City for a net cost of $50,000. The City would pay $82,400, but Mr. Lehman will <br />
