He expressed his honor as serving as the <br />City's Mayor. He thanked thE~ citizens of Louisville and the City's Staff. He also <br />reported Mayor Pro Tem Malrsella will be late for the meeting as she is attending <br />an RTD reception honoring her husband. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Fleming reported he was on vacation in Washington, D.C., when <br />he heard of Money Magazino's selection of the City of Louisville as the "Best <br />Place to Live." He also repOlrted the summer rain has increased the mosquito <br />numbers including the Culex mosquito, which causes the West Nile Virus. He <br />requested Parks and Recreation Director Stevens outline what measures will be <br />taken to mitigate the mosquito population. Director Stevens reported the City <br />has a contract with Colorado Mosquito Control, who will spray the Coal Creek <br />Trail, Coal Creek Golf Coursl9 and Annette Brand Park on Thursday, July 23, <br />between 8:00 p.m. and midnight. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked how often the mosquito counts are tracked and requested the <br />City be vigilant.
