<br />COAL CREEK REPRESENTATIVE <br />REPLACE JOE MADONNA <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl gave a brief review in regards to the <br />resignation and replacement of Mr. Joe Madonna. <br />He suggested that Councilman Berry be appointed <br />as the City representative on the Coal Creek <br />Board. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Council- <br />man Berry be appointed to the Coal Creek Board <br />as the City representative. Seconded by Council- <br />man DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry <br />abstained, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Berry stated that since Mr. Madonna <br />was the chairman and scheduled the meetings, who <br />is going to be responsible to get the next meeting <br />scheduled. Mr. Wurl stated that he had spoken <br />with Mr. Madonna and that Mr. Wurl would write <br />a letter to the other members of the Board in- <br />forming them of the change, and Mr, Madonna <br />stated that he would schedule a meeting before <br />the end of August. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Board will have to <br />discuss the different roles each member will have <br />at their meeting. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br />WEEDS <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked who was going to cut <br />the weeds along Goodhue Ditch and also if there <br />was going to be a fence installed where the <br />ditch goes under the sidewalk in the Wood Bros. <br />subdivision. Mr. Wurl stated that he would <br />talk with Wood Bros. in regards to the fence and <br />speak with Mr. McNulty on the weed problem. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would like <br />to have a different type of grass that does not <br />need to be maintained put in at the sewer plant. <br />Mayor Waschak asked that Mr, Wurl check the <br />problem out this fall. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Council re- <br />ports be accepted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry, Motion carried. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />SPROUL SEWER PLANT HEARING <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Mayor Waschak, Engineer <br />White and himself representing the City of Louis- <br />ville went to the Sproul sewer plant public <br />hearing to discuss with the County Board of <br />Health the application of the Fairways Water <br />and Sanitation District for a waste water <br />sewage treatment plant. He stated that the City <br />had previously written a letter to the Board <br />informing them of the Citys opposition and <br />reasons why. At the hearing the application was <br />denied. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
